Head of AWS Training (m/f/d)

As a renowned IT and AWS cloud service provider, we have been successfully shaping the digital landscape at several locations for over two decades. Our growth trajectory is unbroken and we are looking for reinforcement and leadership for our AWS Training Business Unit.

The Head of AWS Training is responsible for the operational and strategic development of the TRAINING business area (portfolio segment) at tecRacer. As a member of the management team, the BUL works closely with the CFO and other central functions to implement the overarching corporate strategy and to expand the business area profitably.

Tasks

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for our training business – in close collaboration with the management team.

• Spot new trends, uncover business opportunities, and analyze market dynamics to fuel growth and innovation.

• Ensure long-term competitiveness, customer relevance, and profitability.

• Own key performance indicators: revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with central teams like Sales, Marketing, People & Culture, and Resource Management to ensure smooth operations and a thriving business unit.

• Work hand-in-hand with other Business Unit Leads, Local Managing Directors, and project teams to align on strategy and execution.

• Champion agile, cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted sponsor and escalation partner.

• Drive portfolio innovation through new learning formats, certifications, and custom programs.

• Deepen relationships with our customers and partners, identify cross- and upselling potential, and drive business development initiatives.

• Support and mentor our People Success Leads in growing high-performing, empowered teams.

• Ensure our trainers and teams have the tools, resources, and mindset they need to succeed.

• Requires master degree level preferably in: Business Administration / Information Systems / Computer Science, or already extensive

• Proven experience in leading a business unit or department, ideally in a technology-driven company.

• Position requires more than 5 years of experience

• practical experience in this field and with this type of role.

• In-depth knowledge of market and industry trends, particularly in the context of AWS & tecRacer’s services.

• Experience working with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.

• fluent in German and English
